Your role will consist of researching the major power markets across Latin America to support the development of our regional products. Responsibilities · Research into the major Latin America power markets, including regulation framework and pricing mechanisms · Track changes in policies and their key implications for the forecast models · Develop and maintain automated data scrapers to collect power market data across the region · Develop, update and manage the regional power databases in Excel and SQL · Support the development and management of dashboards in Power BI · Track power auctions results and technology trends · Support the development of customized analysis and market reports · Support the development of presentations for client meetings, conferences and webinars Requirements · Academic background in engineering, economics or computer science · 1-3 years in the power market space · Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

The Opportunity Rystad Energy is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Sales & Marketing Team as a Business Development Manager, Clean Energy and Power, to support our fast-growing research and consulting practice within the Energy Transition and Renewable Energy space in the US. As a Business Development Manager, you will identify and qualify new business opportunities and will create strong relationships with prospective clients in the energy transition space.
