AWS Cloud Platform Support Engineer (L3) Full-Time Onsite Foster City, CA We are hiring an experienced AWS Cloud Platform Support Engineer (L3) to own and resolve complex production issues across large-scale, cloud-native platforms. What You’ll Do Own and resolve L3 production incidents across AWS cloud-native platforms Perform deep root cause analysis across microservices, serverless, and containerized workloads Support and stabilize platforms built on AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, and Terraform Troubleshoot issues across Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, ECS/EKS, Glue, Athena, and S3 Partner with engineering, DevOps, and platform teams on incident resolution, releases, and platform improvements Drive preventive fixes, automation, and operational best practices Support CI/CD pipelines, releases, and infrastructure deployments Mentor L2 teams and contribute to documentation and runbooks Improve observability, monitoring, and platform reliability What We’re Looking For Required Experience 7+ years of experience in cloud-native engineering or platform support roles Strong hands-on expertise with AWS (EKS, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Glue, Athena) Terraform / Infrastructure as Code — design, review, and troubleshooting Docker, Kubernetes, Helm with real production troubleshooting experience Experience supporting microservices and event-driven architectures Strong skills in Python / Node.js / .NET Core Experience with REST APIs / GraphQL and backend frameworks (Express, ASP.NET Core) Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git flow, and release management Proven ability to handle high-severity incidents and complex system failures Nice to Have Frontend or full-stack exposure (React / Angular / Next.js) Observability tools: CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana Experience mentoring L2 teams Agile/Scrum experience (Jira, Azure DevOps) What Success Looks Like Faster recovery from production incidents Reduced repeat issues through strong RCA and preventive fixes Stable, scalable, and well-governed AWS platforms Improved operational maturity, monitoring, and automation Strong collaboration across engineering and platform teams Onsite – Foster City, CA (94...
