[Applicants: Be among the first 25 applicants | Industry: IT Services and IT Consulting | Type: Contract | Level: Mid-Senior level] We use Cloudgenix ( Prisma SDWAN)Cisco SwitchesCisco Meraki and Juniper MIst - WIFIPaloAlto firewallsAlkira- Network EdgeCisco ISE- Wireless and Wired authenticationResponsibilities:Install, configure and manage LANs, WANs, wireless networks, routers, switches, firewalls ,SDWAN (Software defined WAN)and other network hardware.Responsible for a large WAN environment, involving multiple networks and data centers, ensuring maximum availability and capacity while ensuring adequate securityWork effectively on cross-departmental projectsSupport network administration of a 24x7 infrastructure; participate in 24x7 on call rotationPerform troubleshooting analysis of problems with network infrastructure, working with ISP or vendorsManage network user access and permissions.Manage network systems back up.Document network problems and resolution for future referenceMaintain network diagrams and documentationGenerate and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service recordsMonitor network performance, and implement performance tuningApply knowledge of firewalls and intrusion detection systemsProvide prompt communication and status reports on critical activitiesEnsure proper security practices are followed in accordance with established IT policies and procedures, PCI and SOX Compliance.Install, configure VOIP phones, thin clients/desktops for new users.Manage cabling and telecom infrastructure to ensure smooth operations of our customer delight center.Work closely with business and other IT teams to fulfill infrastructure requirements for new hires, office relocations.RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar8+ years of network administration/engineering experience requiredExperience troubleshooting and tuning WLAN networksExpertise in WAN/LAN and transport technologies (Ethernet, MPLS, TDM circuits)Proven ability to work with logical design models (Spanning tree, VTP, VLANs, physical cabling)Knowledge of network protocols (CoS, PoE, NTP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP,VPC), network management protocols (CDP, TFTP, SNMP) and security protocols (SSH, HTTPS/SSL, AAA, IPSec)Technical expertise in: Firewall, IPS, SSL, VPN, malware defense, web content filtering,Zscaler SASE, Cisco and Palo Alto firewall Administration,Palo Alto Prisma, Routing, Switching, WLANNetworking: Switches, Routers, VPN, Servers, Firewalls, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, UDP, Latency, VoIP, QoS, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, NHRP, ATM, PPP, MPLSExperience with e-commerce technologies, such as SSL and load-balancingWorking knowledge of IP communication and routing (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP)Working knowledge to maintain Cisco Nexus environmentExperience working in a team-oriented, joint environment, preferably in a 24/7/365 Retail/ eCommerce organizationExperience with Solarwinds or equivalent enterprise monitoring and analysis toolsetExperience with disaster recovery – planning, implementation and maintenanceMethodical, meticulous person who is prepared to help instill the processes, standards and best practices in a diverse fast-changing environmentExperience with highly virtualized environment utilizing networked storage and cloud computingIndustry certifications desired: PAN and Cisco
