We’re Hiring: Administrative Assistant & Event Logistics Planner (Part-Time, 1099) We’re looking for a highly organized, proactive Administrative Assistant & Event Logistics Planner to support the Executive Director with administrative tasks, event logistics, and special projects. Location: Greater Philadelphia (must be Philadelphia-based) Hours: Part-time, approximately 20–30 hours per week Work Style: Mostly virtual, with occasional in-person meetings and event support Classification: Independent Contractor (1099) What You’ll Do Administrative Support Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Executive Director Manage calendars, scheduling, and meeting coordination Draft, format, and organize documents and correspondence Maintain contact lists, databases, and internal records Support special projects and ongoing operations as needed Event Logistics & Coordination Support planning and execution of in-person and virtual events Assist with timelines, run-of-show documents, and vendor coordination Manage registrations, guest lists, and attendee communications Coordinate event materials, signage, and supplies Provide on-site support for Philadelphia-area events What We’re Looking For 2+ years of experience in administrative support, event coordination, or a related role Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Able to manage multiple priorities independently in a remote environment Comfortable being flexible and responsive in a fast-paced setting Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and virtual meeting tools Knowledge of or interest in the commercial real estate industry is a plus, but not required Why This Role This role is ideal for someone who enjoys behind-the-scenes operations, loves bringing events to life, and wants meaningful, flexible work while staying connected to the Philadelphia professional community.
