This role focuses heavily on Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) and Vulnerability Management Systems (VMS), ensuring optimal security posture, tool health, and accurate asset visibility. 🛠 Key Responsibilities EDR Administration (40%) Configure, manage, and optimize EDR tools across multiple localities Tune detection rules to minimize false positives and improve threat visibility Maintain accurate endpoint and asset inventories Perform regular health checks and platform updates Investigate and resolve unexpected agent behavior Ensure integrations function properly and troubleshoot issues as needed Vulnerability Management (40%) Administer and maintain vulnerability management platforms and agents Configure, schedule, and fine-tune vulnerability scans Validate asset discovery and inventory accuracy Perform system health checks and address scan inaccuracies Investigate and remediate agent-related issues Maintain and troubleshoot system integrations General Security Support (20%) Respond to security incidents and service requests via ticketing systems and SOC channels Maintain Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) tools and agents Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and customer interactions Escalate complex issues when required Track and manage tickets to ensure SLA compliance 🎯 Required Qualifications 4+ years of hands-on experience administering EDR tools 4+ years of experience with Vulnerability Management platforms Strong background in information security and security technologies Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment ⭐ Preferred Qualifications Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Experience supporting public sector or enterprise security environments 📜 Desired Certifications CompTIA Security+ CrowdStrike Certified Falcon Administrator (CCFA) T...
