Project Manager Engineer

[Applicants: Be among the first 25 applicants | Type: Full-time | Level: Mid-Senior level] Project Manager Job Description:· Provide project management for selected assigned projects from preliminary planning through construction administration· Assist in the development of project programs, schematic design, design development and construction documents and construction administration as needed· Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals· Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis· Participate in field work, which includes measurements and documentation of existing conditions· Organize and facilitate team efforts and client meetings· Confer with clients, as assigned, to identify requirements and develop statements of program· Assist in developing relationships, write proposals, engage in interviews, and meet with potential and current clients· Lead the process of developing designs and problem-solving· Create long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines· Serve as a point of contact for teams to ensure team actions remain in synergy· Facilitate change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget· Conduct post-project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements· 25% TravelDesired Skills and Background· Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of experience in architecture, engineering or construction· Professional registration (such as PE [professional engineer], RA/AIA [registered architect], PMP [Project Management Professional]) is a plusQualifications· 5+ years of experience in project management· Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
