You’ll collaborate closely with engineers and researchers to integrate your work into production‑ready software and hardware platforms that power next‑generation autonomous and operator‑assist systems.Core ResponsibilitiesDevelop high‑quality perception algorithms for mobile off‑road machines, including sensor fusion, object detection, tracking, and classification.Design, implement, test, and optimize perception software in C++ and ROS.Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate perception capabilities into full autonomy stacks and hardware platforms.Document architecture specifications, software designs, verification plans, test cases, and operational/safety procedures.Support data collection and analysis from robotic and manned platforms; assist with data annotation and iterative ML training cycles.Debug, test, and maintain perception software using modern development tools and participate in verification and validation activities.Technical SkillsRequired Skills & ExperienceStrong proficiency in C++, ROS, and algorithm development.Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.Artificial Intelligence & AutonomyWorking knowledge of perception for mobile robotics, including:Computer vision, machine learning, and deep learning techniques.Experience with lidar, radar, and camera‑based sensing.Ability to design, write, test, and review autonomy and operator‑assist perception software.Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.Software Development & ToolsFamiliarity with Agile development practices.Experience with:C++, Python, EigenAzure DevOps or JiraCMake, Git, SonarQube, Docker, GoogleTest, Artifactory, ClangKnowledge of cloud compute/storage tools (AWS EC2, S3, Batch).Experience with ROS or AIS, OpenCV, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and related development tools.Ability to contribute to integration and testing of complex autonomy systems with a focus on safety and productivity.Problem‑Solving & Analytical SkillsStrong understanding of perception challenges in autonomy and operator‑assist systems.Excellent mathematical reasoning a...
