This role is hands-on and focused on designing, building, and maintaining cloud systems while ensuring reliability, security, and compliance.Emphasis is on CMS support including WordPress and TeamSite/OpenDeploy.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintainAWS environmentsacross production, development, and test systems (EC2, S3, KMS, IAM, backups, networking).Automate infrastructure provisioning and management usingTerraformImplement and manageCI/CD pipelineswith GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.Provide effective technical support todevelopment teams and end-users, addressing incidents and service requests.Collaborate with cross-functional teams toidentify root causesand implement preventive measures.Monitor system health (CPU, memory, disk, database capacity, error logs) and resolve incidents proactively.Implement and tracksystem security, patching, and complianceper federal IT standards.Create and maintain clear and comprehensivetechnical documentation(architecture diagrams, procedures, troubleshooting guides).Share knowledge and insights with team members, promoting a culture oflearning and continuous improvement.Required Skills & ExperienceProven experience as aCloud Support Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or DevOps Engineer, with a strong focus on AWS.In-depth knowledge ofAWS servicessuch as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Lambda, and KMS.Proficiency inInfrastructure as Code(Terraform,).Familiarity withcontainerization and orchestration(Docker, Kubernetes).Experience withCI/CD tools(Jenkins, GitLab).Proficiency inscripting languages(Python, Bash).Strong understanding ofsecurity practices, network protocols, and firewall configurationsin cloud environments.Excellent troubleshooting skills to di...
