Job description
This role oversees network administration tools, with a strong emphasis on network access control (NAC) systems. Occasional travel to branch offices is required to support maintenance efforts and technology deployments.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and administer networking equipment including switches, routers, wireless access points, firewalls, and other security devices.Support and maintain network access control (NAC) platforms.Oversee network management systems, including firewall management, configuration management, and vulnerability management tools.Serve as a technical escalation point for LAN, WAN, and NAC-related issues escalated by the Service Desk team.Generate KPI reports and provide performance metrics to IT leadership on a monthly basis.Maintain strong working relationships with hardware and software vendors, as well as value-added resellers (VARs), to ensure infrastructure stability and support.Provide subject matter expertise across networking technologies and contribute to evaluating and implementing new technologies.Partner with other IT teams to ensure alignment, consistent support, and unified technology strategies.Experience:At least 7 years of overall IT experience, including 4+ years specifically in network engineering.Proven experience leading mid-to-large-scale network implementations.Hands-on experience deploying network access control solutions at both perimeter and internal levels.Experience with Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, GlobalProtect, and SD-WAN technologies.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Leadership and supervisory capabilities.Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.What's in it for you:Medical, Dental, Vision, InsurancePTO + Paid Holidays401(k) w/ MatchEducation ReimbursementSalary: $115k - $145k
