They are passionate about what they do, which has assisted in their continuous growth and success over a sustained period of time.Your new Role:Reporting to the Project Manager, the Planner will be responsible for all aspects of planning and scheduling for a project, including execution of the schedule from commencement to completion of works.In addition, the Senior Planner will be responsible for the establishment and implementation of standard Project Controls Procedures & Systems applicable to the project scope, and any client specified planning related deliverables.Project Planning using Primavera P6Develop Pre-Construction, Construction and Commissioning Program as part of the Dornan project team.Development of the Project Controls Systems specific to the Project include:Set up WBSSet up Progress Measurement System (PMS)Develop the Schedule, S-Curves and Workforce HistogramsCost Loading of Programs (as required)Baseline the ScheduleImplementing the Project Controls systemProgress Measuring of all works, Direct & Sub-Contract, using the Dornan bespoke PMSMonitoring of Labour work hours & Analysing Labour EfficienciesUpdate the Schedule in Primavera/ASTASystems Turnover TrackingMonitor delays & client notifications as required.Monthly Project Reporting to Senior ManagementProject ReportsWhat you will bring:Very strong Excel skills and Power BI is advantageous but not essential.Experience in the use of Primavera P6 among other planning softwareDetailed knowledge of the Senior Planner roleCommercial understandingHealth, Safety and Environmental systemsKnowledge of BIM & Engineering Process, particularly at Pre-Construction StageKnowledge & understanding of QA handover process and commissioning at project turnover stage.Knowledge of the team's strengths and weaknessesWhat you will get:Competitive annual salary up to and above €80k per annum depending on experienceHybrid Working ModelAccess to company pension and healthcare schemesOpportunity to build your career by assisting in the delivery of 'cutting edge' engineering projects.To work with a vibr...
